Previous design or UI/UX related internships
The ability to fluctuate between research and production phases, and the keen ability to know when to do so
Exposure to and an understanding of digital and interactive design
A strong understanding of information design and content architecture
A demonstrated understanding of various production methods/ability to identify appropriate process for any job according to budget and scheduling parameters
Strong organizational skills and an ability to set priorities and manage time
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas – you’ll be collaborating with others both at SPROUT as well as directly with clients
A true passion for design and a consistent interest in breaking from preconceived notions of what design can be
A desire to proactively seek constructive feedback
A willingness and enthusiasm toward expanding knowledge about technology/media, production processes, design applications and working methods
The ability to adapt and be flexible
Initiative to broaden and increase skill sets to accommodate various needs of the studio
Good grasp of visual design would be a big plus
