We’re looking for a positive, eager-to-learn video production intern with video production and post-production experience, storytelling skills, and a desire to be part of a rapidly growing start-up-minded team.
Working as part of the award-winning Creative Services Team, the Video Intern will:
- Work directly with the Video Producer on the pre-production, production and post-production of video marketing and internal video productions
- With direction from the Video Producer, shoot videos, assist with video editing and animation, assist in the casting and booking of voice talent, select and purchase stock music, imagery and footage, as well as the encoding and delivery of videos
- Collaborate with creative team members to facilitate continued evolution of the brand
This position reports to the Video Producer of Creative Services. The video intern will work closely with other members of the team, including writers, designers, and account executives.
Description of Training & Education
The intern will get immediate and extremely valuable hands-on training and experience working on a variety of video marketing and internal video productions. Though a majority of the training and work will be in post-production, there will be ample opportunity in concepting and pre-production as well as production.

The supervisor is an experienced video director, producer, editor and motion graphics designer. At Sallie Mae the Video Producer is in charge of all video marketing and internal video productions from concept to delivery. Prior to taking the position at Sallie Mae, the supervisor co-founded and served as creative director for a video marketing production company based in Los Angeles, CA.
Basic experience with Adobe applications: Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop
$16 per hour
